A true Thrissurian at heart, Vaishakh P has woven his life’s journey within the cultural tapestry of his hometown. Armed with a degree in Production Engineering and a post-graduation in Manufacturing Systems Management, both earned in the vibrant city of Thrissur, Vaishakh has found his professional stride as a Catalog Associate at the Amazon Development Centre India.

Vaishakh’s journey into the realm of animal welfare took an unexpected turn seven years ago when his brother brought a stray cat into their home. What began as a casual encounter with a feline friend evolved into a deep and abiding love for animals. This newfound affection sparked an innate desire within Vaishakh to protect and care for creatures in need.

As he delved deeper into the world of animal welfare, Vaishakh realized the magnitude of the challenges faced by animals in the larger context. This realization became a catalyst for his journey with PAWS Thrissur. In February 2022, in a seemingly unexpected twist of fate, Vaishakh joined PAWS as a volunteer.

Currently serving as the Shelter Coordinator at PAWS Thrissur, Vaishakh plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of animals under the care of the organization. His unique blend of academic expertise and newfound passion for animal welfare makes him a valuable asset to the PAWS team.
